ATTENTION ALL LS YOUTH BASEBALL COACHES - Stay Tuned for 2018 Coaching Clinic Information.  Lilsted below were the activiites in 2017.

LS Youth Baseball understands that our coaches have a profound effect on our players and our league.  In an effort to give the coaches the tools they need to succeed, and thus best help our kids grow as baseball players and people, the league is offering 3 exciting opportunities for coaching clinics.

Please mark your calendars and plan to attend one of these clinics.

1) LS Youth Baseball is partnering with Positive Coaching Alliance for a workshop at LS Regional High School on Monday April 10th at 7PM in the auditorium.  PCA is an award winning organization that teaches the power of positive reinforcement to pursue winning and the more important goal of teaching life lessons thru sports.

2) The district has partnered with us to provide an opportunity to attend Big Al's Coaching Clinic at Maynard High School on Sunday March 26th.  Big Al has trained thousands of youth baseball coaches across the country, and his hands on approach teaches coaches what they need to know to run a team.  The district is sponsoring our league attendance to this clinic, so we can send as many coaches as can go.

3) Required for 1st time coaches-Jeff Dade, long time member of the LS Youth Baseball community is conducting his annual clinic from 12PM to 2PM on March 26th at Israel Loring gym.  Jeff covers how we coach kids, both in terms of philosophy and fundamentals of how we want to teach throwing, hitting and catching.

It is a top priority of LS Youth Baseball to make our coaches better in order to serve our kids better.  Please take the time to attend one of these workshops.
